I may or may not have bought this wicked awesome shirt. It was 58 dollars but I think I deserved it. :3

I posted this on Facebook when I bought it two days ago. Since then pretty much everyone has said “I’d never pay that much” or “for just a shirt?” or something along those lines. Look. I found this shirt, I look great in it, it makes me feel good about myself so YEAH I PAID NEAR 60 DOLLARS FOR A SHIRT ONCE. ONE TIME. THE ONE TIME YOU SPLURGE ON YOURSELF AND YOU GET THAT SHIT? Fuck, all that’s making me think that I’m not worth it. That I don’t deserve expensive things.

You look fucking stunning, friend. You go out, you crush the skulls of those that think you did something wrong. Own the fucking world you exist in.

You. I like you.

Anonymous said: How do you know humans are not meant to eat meat? Sometimes i get confused because articles are just contradictory and what happens to animals is dusgusting but what if we are actually made to be OMNIVORES, not carnivores, nor hervibores, then what would be the fucking point if that's actually our nature? :(

fresh-not-flesh:

There are a billion reasons, which I could go into, about our “canine” teeth and all of that, to prove we are indeed frugivores, but that isn’t what matters. It’s about the fact that 99% of people can live and be 100% healthy without any animal products, so does it really matter what we are designed to eat, because we can live a life free of animals products and still be healthy, who cares if it’s our nature or not? Because the fact that we can live and be healthy, in fact even more healthy, while eating a plant based diet, should be reason enough.

Does it really feel like nature to you though? Do you look at roadkill and salivate? When you see a cute little pig do you think about how nice it would be to sink your teeth into it?

What would be the point? You would be healthy, the animals would still be alive, you would have a much smaller impact on the environment, it’s a winfinity situation

You could go into a really nice debate over the whole idea of Instinct, Psychology, and Sociology of our eating habits. the roadkill comment? Much like how wild animals know how to avoid poisonous berries, they learned it from other wild animals. We learned not to eat roadkill for whatever reason (society, cleanliness, etc) because others have told us that it is bad.

Granted, I agree that humans CAN live healthy lives without meat. That’s been proven. It’s a lifestyle choice that’s fun to think about (why do we eat meat? why vegetables?) and debate over, but nothing to shame others for.

It also depends on the person over what keeps them healthy or not. For instance, people without large intestines would find it harder to function on an all vegetable diet. Not impossible, but harder. There are also people who have allergies to certain vegetables, of course. Every person is different but based on the same anatomy. I wouldn’t go so far as to say 99% but yes, people can live on vegan diets and be 100% healthy.

He was about to go home, about to return to the place where he had had a family. It was in Godric’s Hollow that, but for Voldemort, he would have grown up and spent every school holiday. He could have invited friends to his house… He might even have had brothers and sisters… It would have been his mother who had made his seventeenth birthday cake. The life he had lost had hardly ever seemed so real to him as at this moment, when he knew he was about to see the place were it had been taken from him.
